Beautiful Living Exhibition - 28-30 November
The first Beautiful Living Exhibition will be held at the Palacio de Congresos in Marbella between 10am and 8 pm 28 to 30 November 2008. This is being billed as a boutique home decor exhibition and will bring together 50 of the top interior designers, furniture manufacturers and home decor specialists on the Costa del Sol. There will also be live cookery demonstrations and an Antiques Roadshow Live hosted by Bonhams so there will be lots to keep visitors entertained. The exhibition is a must see for anyone looking for design inspiration for their home or a fun day out. Cudeca Christmas Fair, Sunday 7th December, Gabriella Kortsch and friends are helping to organise a Christmas Fair in aid of Cudeca at The Hotel Barcelo, San Pedro from 12.00 to 7.00 pm on 7 December. This fun and relaxing event will feature singers, children's fashion shows and fantastic food stalls with cuisine from all over the world. Weekly Spanish Conversation Meetings -Many people come to live on the Costa del Sol from Northern European countries like the UK, France and Germany with the best intentions of learning and speaking Spanish but struggle to find the opportunity to practice in the very English speaking communities along the coast. With this in mind a weekly meeting has been set up in Harleys Bar Calahonda where people can come together and chat away in Spanish in a relaxed, social environment. This is a way to use the Spanish you have learnt in the classroom but haven't quite managed to put into practice yet and there are people to help if you get stuck.
