Salon Maher Champagne Open Evening 10th July Salon Maher opened its doors on Avenida Ramon and Cajal in May to bring Maher Mansour’s unique brand of hairdressing to Marbella. Leaving behind his two successful salons in the Netherlands, he’s bringing 25 years of experience, international training and qualifications and a desire to push the boundaries of what is possible in hairdressing to the Costa del Sol. He aims to enhance the natural beauty of every customer that walks through the door, and make them feel a million dollars. Maher is launching the salon to the public with a Champagne Open Evening on Wednesday the 10th of July and welcoming guests to their sanctuary of style. FIESTA Reveals Full Line-up and Charity Partners We,ve been busy promoting the exciting new music festival FIESTA Marbella and this week organized a well-attended press conference to share the line-up and announce the charity partners that they are supporting. At the press conference the charities that the festival will be supporting were announced. FIESTA’s charity partners are – Hogar Betania, Collective Calling, Rotary Club Puerto Banús and Triple A. It was also announced that English singer Chesney Hawkes, Norwegian hip hop/rap duo Madcon and Norwegian DJ CLMD will all be appearing at the Generation: Music Event on Friday 9th of August. They complete the line-up for this packed night of music, alongside the award-winning boyband Blue. These newly announced acts join global superstars Pete Tong, Nancy Ajram and the best House and Drum and Bass DJs, for a stellar line-up of acts, many of whom have never performed in mainland Spain before. €431 Raised For DiabetesCERO at Charity Quiz We’d like to say a massive thank you to Simon and the team at the Rose & Thistle pub in Duquesa Port, Kevin the wonderful quiz master and everyone who came along to the Specsavers Ópticas Marbella quiz for DiabetesCERO. There were over 50 people in attendance and thanks to the fee to play and massive generosity when purchasing raffle tickets, we raised €431 for this excellent cause. We had wonderful prizes donated by these amazing businesses; Vinomarket wine shop in San Enrique, the fantastic curry house Mini India Duquesa, the gift shop Knickknacks in Estepona, Specsavers Opticas Marbella, the resin art wizards at Made To Measure Art, Feathers Fitness studio in Plaza Blanca, Sotogrande and we picked up some wine and chocolates to make sure as many people could win as possible. Every donation really helped sell those raffle tickets and we couldn't have done it without you! Thank you.
