Specsavers’ Summer Photography Competition Specsavers Ópticas want to give budding photographers, aged 6-17, the best possible chance to enter their Summer Photography Competition and so have extended the deadline to Sunday the 8th of September. The brief is to take an image which really encapsulates the fun of the holidays and explain why. Only one photography may be entered, so the team felt a bit more time was required to sort through and select the very best. Charity Wellness Weekend in Sotogrande Join us at Feathers Fitness in Plaza Blanca, Sotogrande to support the youth charity Asociacion Familia Vicenciana, located in the Centro Contigo in La Linea, and get active between the 6th and 8th of September. There’s a packed programme of fitness sessions and talks on nutrition, fitness and breathwork taking place between the 6th and the 8th of September. And there are activities for kids and adults planned. All workshops and sessions are available for a €10 donation to their chosen charity per activity, or €30 for the entire weekend. Find Out More

Salon Maher supports Collective Calling Salon Maher is partnering with Collective Calling until the 1st of October, having promotional materials, a collection tin and their charity candles available to purchase at the salon, to encourage awareness and donations. Taking on the Caminito del Rey Ten team members from Specsavers Ópticas Fuengirola are preparing to take on the Caminito del Rey to raise funds for the diabetes research foundation DiabetesCERO in September. Although once known as one of the world’s most dangerous footpath, it is now safe to cross but a real challenge for those with a fear of heights.
