I am very excited asย the ski season has finally started up in the Sierra Nevada! They have been using the snow cannons to make sure there are ski-able areas and thanks to some early snow there’s a record amount of runs open. I always feel better about it pouring with rain here if I know that it’s snowing up there!
If you want to see for yourself what’s going on up there, you can take a look at the Sierra Nevada webcamย –ย it looks like there’s even someย snow down to the village which is brilliant soย early in the season. According to the website there’sย 9 lifts open, 22 pistes open and over 17km of slopes which are good to ski on. It’s a sweet little resort which I’d recommend for beginners and intermediates. There are some good runs for the more advanced skiers too, but these are limited.
