Arboretum Marbella Autumn Fair
Arboretum is marking the beginning of the autumn season on Sunday 17th September with a fun day full of art and activities at their public park behind Marbella bus station. From 11.00-17.00 there will be stalls with organic and environmentally friendly products, artisan foods, drinks and cakes, plus arts and crafts and gifts to buy. There will also be an exhibition of photos of the organic allotments and a programme of activities such as a parent’s workshop, kids’ games and a guided tour of the park. There will be live music from the group Mitá I Mitá and local, seasonal food available to enjoy during the whole day.
The organisers want to stop the use of plastic, so are asking guests to bring their own plate, glass and cutlery if they want to try the delicious seasonal, organic food on offer. There will be a surprise for everyone bringing their own and helping the environment.
This Autumn Fair is a wonderful celebration for the community in the unique setting of Arboretum’s organic allotments to raise money for this environmental charity. To attend the fun day is free of charge, but donations are welcome and visitors are asked to bring a book to donate. Donated books will be on sale and all proceeds will go towards the charity.
