Specsavers Santa Ponça celebrate 10 Years with Charity Event
Specsavers Opticas arrived in Mallorca in 2011 and is celebrating its five year anniversary and Specsavers’ 10 years in Spain with a fantastic charity event in store on Saturday 14th of May from 10.00am to 1.30pm. All proceeds will be donated to Kidney Research UK and the whole community is invited to come and join in the fun.
Throughout the day there will be food and smoothies in return for a charity donation, face painting for the children and makeovers from Mary Kay makeup. Frame stylists will be on hand to offer style advice and guests will be able to enter the Spectacle Wearer of the Year Awards and be in with a chance to win 500€.
The Calvia Lions Club will present at the event, conducting a free diabetes screening. A qualified nurse will be conducting a simple finger prick test to detect the signs of diabetes and an appointment is not necessary. Results will be given immediately and if positive, patients will be referred for medical advice.
Also during the event and from the 3rd to the 14th of May, they are offering glasses for just 10€ to reward customers for their loyalty and celebrate the 10 year milestone.
