Arboretum Marbella News
I am delighted to share another important step forward for environmental charity Arboretum Marbella which, as well as creating a people’s forest, is also creating an area for environmental education which in time will include a library and classroom.
Their first step was to build a tool shed using sustainable building methods and waste products. Now they have built a dry toilet which will be totally sustainable and bio-construction methods and local materials.
In August they will begin a building an ambitious dome structure which will act as a classroom for 100 students and need help to do it! They are looking for volunteers with skills in building, materials and of course funds to make this dream a reality!
Shaw Marketing Services have been supporting this charity for several years now and we are totally inspired by the work they are doing. If you wish to get involved you can buy a tree, become a donor or volunteer on a regular basis or as part of their monthly lend a hand events and special tree planting events.
