Charity Networking Event A Great Success
On the 20th of February the Mayor of Manilva Mario Jiménez Rodríguez and Councillors from Manilva Town Hall joined over 40 local business people at the offices of Martínez-Echevarría Abogados in Sabinillas. The event, organized by Shaw Marketing Services, Martínez-Echevarría Abogados and Manilva Town Hall, was held to offer businesses on the Western Costa del Sol an opportunity to expand their contacts, meet potential new clients and explore collaborations with other professionals.
This networking event raised money for The Duquesa Charitable Society of St. George, and donated 205€ at the end of the successful evening. This donation has been allocated to supporting the local group La Asociación para Altas Capacidades Intelectuales Los Castillejos, to put on an educational activity for 25 children and their families. This group helps gifted kids in the area to achieve their full potential, as they often struggle in mainstream schools.
Councillor for Commerce of Manilva Town Hall, Dean Tyler Shelton commented; “Networking is fast becoming one of the best ways to put business people, suppliers and consumers together. Some of the best business opportunities are about being in the right place at the right time and this kind of event is key for creating exactly that situation”.
