Festival Arte Sano, San Pedro 25-26 July
New date announced for one of my favourite summer festivals on the Costa del Sol, the Festival Arte Sano in San Pedro.
This relaxed, family-friendly festival has a distinctly hippy vibe, and this year they are capitalizing on with a 1960s-70s theme full of flower power, which will be lots of fun. It’s described as “the largest alternative free festival on the coast and has established itself as a contemporary showcase of natural health, artistic expression, movement, dance and personal development.”
There are stalls selling delicious (often veggie) food, artisan products, jewelry, clothes and therapists offering massages and holistic treatments for you to enjoy. There are also loads of workshops, and activities to take part in. It’s excellent for the kids and there’s lots of green space to run around as well as the beach of course, so I would highly recommend it, take a blanket and a few beers and enjoy the vibe.
