
New British Sitcom launching at the Marbella International Film Festival
Ketchup Trailer Screening and Cast and Crew Q&A is taking place on Saturday 4th of October at 17.00 at The Red Dog Cinema, Puerto Banus. Tickets are now on sale for €13.24. This includes the screening of Dead Actually, the introduction to Ketchup, trailer screening, cast and crew Q&A and drinks reception.
Marbella will be the setting for a new British sitcom Ketchup, following a hapless British couple who attempt to run a bar on the Costa del Sol, with colourful expats and locals thrown into the mix. The show will be filmed between Marbella and the UK, and it is being launched on Saturday 4th of October at the Red Dog Cinema Puerto Banus, as part of the Marbella International Film Festival.
Ketchup has been created by Joe Cawley, author of the bestselling More Ketchup than Salsa memoirs. It is being directed by and starring the actor Kevin McNally, best known for his roles in Shackleton, Life on Mars and The Crown, as well as playing pirate Joshamee Gibbs in the Pirates of the Caribbean film franchise. It also stars American actress Sandra Dickinson, who has been acting since 1973 and is best known for playing Trillian in the 1981 series The Hitch Hiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.
Ketchup will be launched as part of a Red Carpet Screening of feature film Dead Actually, also starring Sandra Dickinson and produced by Deanna Dewey, Ketchup’s Producer and tickets are now on sale.
From 16.30, the cast and crew will be on the red carpet for an opportunity for fans to be part of the star-studded launch event.
At 17.00, there will be an introduction to the new project and the exclusive reveal of an AI-generated teaser trailer inside the Red Dog Cinema, with a Q&A session with the cast and crew.
This will be followed by the screening of the feature film Dead Actually, starring Sandra Dickinson, Susan Kyd, Judy Norman and Jane How. This dark countryside comedy, sees four friends face macabre mishaps—hiding a body, outsmarting a scheming daughter, and thwarting a son-in-law—to protect their secret.
Attendees of this Red Carpet Screening, will then be invited for a drinks reception at the cinema.

Filming for Ketchup will start in Marbella on the 6th of October.
