Second Free Market to be held at Arboretum Marbella 03/06/12
Gratiferia, the free market where items are donated and no money changes hands,, was a huge success when it was launched this month at environmental charity Arboretum. Due to this success it is now a regular event on the first Sunday of every month from 10.00-14.00. The next one will be held on Sunday 3rd June.
The Director of Arboretum, Alejandro Orioli explains. “This event is a great way to remember just how much we all have and just by passing on our unwanted items we can help the planet, other people and ourselves. We minimize the rubbish going to landfill and the need to produce new products just by taking part in the Gratiferia and it’s good fun too!”
The motto of Gratiferia is “Because Giving is Free” and it will be a permenant fixture in Marbella’s calendar.
Start looking through your unwanted items and take them along to Gratiferia from 9am. All they ask is that the items are in good condition and would be useful for others.
