Specsavers campaign to collect glasses for the Lions Club update
On 10th October Specsavers launched a campaign to collect 3,000 pairs of unwanted glasses in just three months. These glasses will be given to the Lions Club International and distributed to those in need. This campaign gives sight to some of the world’s poorest people and the response has been fantastic, with 1,456 pairs of glasses donated in just one month!
Specsavers are delighted to have received so many glasses in such a short period, but don’t want to lose momentum in the second month, so they are urging people to go into one of their eight stores on the Costa del Sol, Costa Blanca and Mallorca and take in their frames to go to this fantastic cause. Let’s try and smash the target and help even more people.
