Specsavers Opticas wins Marbella Business Award
On 7th November, Specsavers Opticas was awarded with the prize for International Relevance in the 2nd Edition of the Marbella Business Awards and presented with the award by Mayor Ángeles Muñoz. They were one of seven businesses recognised for their outstanding contribution to the Marbella business community and this award was a fantastic way for the global optical group to celebrate their second anniversary in Marbella.
Specsavers Opticas was selected as a highly recognized brand for the international resident community and tourists, drawing people to Marbella’s shopping area and boosting surrounding business. They were praised for creating employment in the local community and bringing extremely high standards and best practices from the UK, whilst displaying the utmost respect for the local community and providing the same fantastic service for international and Spanish customers.
Store Directors Nerea Galdos-Pujana and Leighton Griffiths collected the award and Nerea commented; “We are delighted to be praised in this way for the benefits we’re bringing to the area. As part of our commitment to the community we collect glasses for the Lions Club International, support local association ADISOL with educating residents about the dangers of diabetes to eye sight and offer free eye tests using the latest technology. Winning this award confirms our place within the Marbella business community and we are very proud to receive it from the Mayor.”
