Winners of the Spectacle Wearer of the Year Competition Announced
After a month-long competition, Specsavers Opticas have announced the winners of the Spectacle Wearer of the Year Awards 2015. The first prize of 500โฌ and a pair of designer glasses has been awarded to Andrรฉs Felipe Ramรญrez, who smoulders in his dark rectangular frames and commented, that he loves his glasses “because as well as improving my vision, which is of course the most important, they are an accessory that make you look stylish and modern”.
He was chosen as a winner because of his style, attitude and good looks, as well as demonstrating clearly that he loved his glasses. Guest judge, fashion blogger Rocรญo Lรณpez, from Paradise Closet paradisecloset.me commented, โIt was really difficult to choose the winners, there was such a high standard of entries, but I chose Andres because of his cool look and the stylish way he wears his glasses, I think heโs a worthy winner.โ
There are also 4 semi-finalists who have all won one pair of designer glasses worth159โฌ

They were chosen as runners up in their age categories as they are all really proud of wearing glasses and have given great reasons why they love them, as well as fantastic pictures of them showing their own style and favourite frames. Caroline Wendelin looks amazing in her red and black frames and commented that she loves her glasses because โthey improve your vision every day and on top of that they give you a smart-sexy look that no other accessory can”. Sue Greenwood joked โBecause I can see clearly now the pain has gone…..sorry it had to be done hahahaโ and impressed the judges with her great look and attitude.
