Charity Bake Sale Raising Money for Rowing for Cancer
As part of their commitment to raising money for the Rowing for Cancer Challenge, Specsavers Opticas in Torrevieja will be holding a homemade cake sale in store on Friday 27th November from 10.30 to 19.30. Simon Morton and Dan Davy from Sunshine FM will be broadcasting live from the store between 12.00 and 15.00 playing great music and there will also be a raffle with fantastic prizes donated by local businesses. Pop in to purchase some delicious treats and enjoy a glass of cava throughout the day with the team at Specsavers, with all proceeds going to charity.
This event will be the final fundraising drive before Dave and Mitch Bull set off to kayak from Murcia to Guardamar, a distance of 52 kilometres on 28th of November. The team at Specsavers hope it will help them to reach their goal of raising 5,000€ for cancer charity AECC.
They are appealing for keen bakers to help them out by creating something delicious and coming along to enjoy the fun. Cakes can be dropped off the day before, or on the morning of the bake sale and every donation will be much appreciated, as well as raising funds for a wonderful cause. There are also collection buckets and sponsorship forms in Specsavers in Torrevieja and Guardamar throughout the month, so it’s easy for people to get involved and donate.
The cake sale is taking place at Specsavers Opticas in Torrevieja Avenida Rosa Mazon Valero, opposite Habaneras Shopping Centre on Friday 27th November from 10.30-19.30 and everyone is welcome to attend.
