New business training events for 2020
A new series of free business training and networking events entitled “We Cowork Talks” is starting for 2020, with a presentation on branding by marketing expert Georgina Shaw. These events were very popular when they launched last year, and the coworking centre is looking forward to supporting more businesses and entrepreneurs to learn, develop and make new contacts through this event series.
The first event will take place on Thursday 13th of February from 18.00-20.00. The first hour is dedicated to networking, with attendees encouraged to make new beneficial contacts and promote themselves. In the second hour, Marketing Director of Shaw Marketing Services, Georgina Shaw, will be helping attendees to understand the importance of a brand and giving them the opportunity to consider what their brand stands for. The interactive session will also show attendees how to be a brand ambassador and make sure they don’t let their brand down.
Presenter Georgina Shaw explains, “Being able to have a true understanding of your brand values, company personality and USP is important for all employees and business owners. This understanding enables you to correctly handle customer service, client complaints and set the tone of all communications. When employees, managers and leaders really understand the brand and are engaged they can become powerful brand ambassadors and are a real asset to the company.”
Organizers We Cowork adds, “Our business hub and coworking space in San Pedro has been set up to foster entrepreneurship and offer the ideal conditions for businesses to succeed. An important part of this is offering free business training and networking events such as these for our members and the wider business community. We’re excited to be back for another year of We Cowork Talks and welcome business owners and entrepreneurs who want to develop themselves and their companies.”
