sala loyalty cardThis week the Sala Group launched their loyalty card which offers regulars to La Sala, Sala Beach, Aquamist and El Rincon de La Sala discounts across the venues including a great 10% discount off food and drink in La Sala.

I am so pleased to see a company taking a step to reward loyal customers in this way and I am sure it will be hugely popular. For customers they get to feel special and enjoy discounts and feel part of the club. For the company they can create an amazing database for marketing purposes, increase the regularity of custom and improve positive feeling about the venues and therefore recommendations. Think what you can do to reward your customers and keep them coming back for more. Getting a new client is the hard part, keeping them should then be your priority. Even if you don’t want a formal loyalty scheme, do something nice for them every now and again. Restaurants and bars can give a free drink to a regular client to thank them for their custom, or create an event just for the regulars and their invited guests, service providers could give a discount, gift or even just write a letter to say thanks and if you know when someone’s birthday is why not send them a card? Little gestures go a long way.
