More than 500 people attend the Kempinski Christmas Market

Over 500 people from all over the world descended on the Kempinski Hotel Bahía this weekend for a wonderful Christmas market. Highlights included a 2-meter high gingerbread house made from over 60 kilos of dough, a visit from Santa and the switching on of the lights on the Christmas tree in the lobby. Visitors enjoyed browsing the stalls of artisan producers and delicious ham carved by award winning ham carver Popi. Live music from Choir Andaluz, the choir from Colegio San Jose de Estepona and talented soloists from Sotogrande International School and set the scene for the perfect start to the Christmas season.

This is the first of many excellent Christmas activities at the hotel, including a daily Christmas Afternoon Tea at the Black Rose in the lobby. The Art of Christmas workshops will be hosted each weekend in December, including winter floral arrangements, wreath-making and cupcake decorating. In the final lead up to Christmas there will be three great evenings of entertainment, including live jazz acts on December 21st 22nd and 23rd. There will be a Christmas Eve Gala Dinner, two wonderful Christmas Lunches to choose from on the 25th. On December 31st guests can bring in the New Year with live music, sumptuous food, fine wine and a Cuban theme.
